La Union in the very south eastern part of
the Murcia region, covers a land area of approximately 16 square miles(25km2)
and is right next to the beautiful shores and beaches of the Mar Menor and La
Manga, with access to the Mediterranean just a short distance away in the
village of Portman. The town is located in the middle of a rich mining land,
mainly of natural minerals, which has given rise to array of attractions linked
to its splendid history, architecture and folklore. The most prominent examples
include, the old public market building which over 100 years old and is used for
special weekly cultural events. This also the venue for the world famous
Flamenco festival "El Cante De Las Minas". Another beautiful building is the
town's church, also more than a 100 years old. Easily the same size as many
cathedrals, the "Senora Del Rosario" church becomes the centre point of the
spectacular Easter processions of Semana Santa.
All apartments have mountain views and the penthouses
come with ample private roof terraces. The development also offers a communal
swimming pool and substantial garden area.
